With a talent for creative writing and a curiosity of people and new cultures, Hannah parlayed her skills into a career in media before landing in public relations. After graduating from the University of Missouri School of Journalism, she worked as a magazine and online editor in Minneapolis covering travel and lifestyle until she left sub-zero temperatures behind and moved to San Diego in 2010. Hannah continued to work within the media until she transitioned into public relations and marketing.

Hannah earned her Masters in Communications Management from the University of Southern California with a focus on corporate social responsibility. She is a connector and collector of people, ideas and positive vibes, and she uses those qualities to create win-win relationships between her clients and media. She has planned and executed successful public relations campaigns across various industries, including hospitality, consumer goods, and B2B.

During more than 10 years part-timing in the restaurant and nightlife industry (student loans aren’t cheap!), Hannah helped open two breweries, a cocktail lounge, and a restaurant helmed by a James Beard Award-winning chef. These days, you can find her on the other side of the bar, trying out new breweries and restaurants around her North Park neighborhood. Hannah also enjoys spending time on her paddleboard, on her yoga mat, on her snowboard, and on adventures around the world.

As a breast cancer survivor, Hannah volunteers as a spokesperson and advocate for health, raising funds to find better breast cancer treatments and ultimately a cure. She aims to leave a lasting, positive impact on the world through her professional and personal endeavors.
